The opportunity
We are seeking a talented individ-ual to join the E-7A Wedgetail engineering team as a Work Management Lead. This position holder will be responsible to the Sustainment Engineering Manager for the running, status, reporting and improvements to the of the work management system and will be required to engage with key Wedgetail Enterprise stakeholders from the wider program and customer.

Responsibilities:
Support the integration, planning and allocation of the sustainment engineering team tasks
Research and develop improvements to the work management system to manage technical work more effectively
Technical analysis to support task prioritisation, workload risk characterisation and resource optimization
Assignment of work packages to execution teams through fortnightly plans and ad-hoc requests
Analyse data to produce work management metrics and reports
Engage a broad range of stakeholders as focal point for all new tasking and routine customer queries.
Experience/Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years work experience in a relevant project, engineering, maintenance or logistics role.
Minimum of 5 years work experience providing support in an Australian Defence Force (ADF) military aircraft sustainment environment.
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking in the analysis and resolution of complex issues.
Familiarity with project, engineering, configuration management, logistics, maintenance and airworthiness systems.
Ability to resolve competing priorities and remove execution barriers, requiring good negotiation skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Sound leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a group environment and with people across all organisational levels.
Current, or ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance to the level of Negative Vetting 1.
