The role
You will champion UX across Financial Markets and get involved in the early stages of the User Centred Design process, working alongside the client, product strategy and technology teams to help shape projects and define requirements. You will have real influence and responsibility over the strategic shape and direction of our ideas and solutions from conception to delivery.
What you will be doing
Champion UX
Conduct user research and requirements analysis, task and concept modelling, information architecture and UX design, and concept/usability testing.
Design interactions using an iterative process, based on evidence from deep customer insight, and gathered through interviews, studies, analytics, usability testing and more.
Create user experience specifications, personas, user journeys, wireframes, design patterns, interactive prototypes and information architecture assets such as site maps, screen flows and navigation models.
Work collaboratively with strategy, business analyst, visual design and technical development teams and manage UX and design work streams (including estimating resources, time and materials to define and complete their work).
Communicating design rationale and project progress including an ability to turn concepts into low fidelity prototypes quickly
What you will need
An understanding and enthusiasm for all aspects of the User Centred Design process: research, strategy, interaction and information design, front-end development, content and brand strategy and business/user process engineering for cutting-edge digital experiences.
Strong ability to gather user requirements and understand users’ needs through a range of methods such as one on one interviews, observations, workshops
Ability to create user journeys, site map designs and wire frames to varying levels of fidelity
Excellent communication skills: effective listening, ability to communicate design rationale and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
A passion for creating digital experiences that delight
Appreciation of design approach across different devices, including Desktop
Experience and ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in the design, development and production of quality creative solutions that meet client’s business objectives and goals.
Understanding of current and emerging web technologies
Ability to meet deadlines and work within a team environment
Financial services experience desirable but not essential
