About the role:
Transport Drivers play a critical role in the heavy vehicle transportation of linen, clinical and non-clinical supplies to Queensland Health hospitals and health facilities across Queensland. Transport Drivers load supplies into the heavy vehicle at Queensland Health Distribution Centres and Laundries and unload at the destination. The Transport Officer in Supply Chain Services and Group Linen Services reports to the Transport Supervisor.
What we are looking for:
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described under ‘your key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Good communication skills and the ability to present a professional image to Health Support Queensland clients.
Basic literacy, reading comprehension and numeracy skills.
