Brisbane-based with an understanding of the subtleties of Queensland, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the Queensland Office and ensuring all locally set revenue targets are achieved, if not exceeded.
Job Details:This significant role has a prime business development focus in the key areas of corporate partnerships, and maximizing all revenue generating opportunities.
Your background includes some impressive work in commercial markets ideally liaising to Board level, and you will also need a good understanding of how fundraising actually works – along with an appreciation of the impact that community and individual donor programs have on total revenue.
In what is a prestigious and ambassador role, you will quickly become the 'face' of your organization and its acknowledged 'go-to' across the state through all levels of business.
As a pro-active sales professional with the drive to 'create your own in-tray', you will work with the National Campaigns and Community Fundraising Manager to implement the strategic community fundraising campaign which encourages those outside the organisation to support the work and maximise opportunities in the local community.
Your experience with all aspects of sales and business development, including managing and tracking budgets, financial reporting and data record systems will all come into play as you systematically create and convert ground breaking new growth opportunities.
An accomplished achiever with dynamic communications and relationship building skills, you will ideally be empathetic, intuitive and a real people person. Sensitive to the impact of a cancer diagnosis, you have the compassion and the skills to respectfully seek support from people who have been touched by that in some way.
Optimistic, commercially courageous with a true entrepreneurial spirit and a compelling drive to pick up the phone or get out and 'magic up' opportunities, you have an excellent trackrecord for setting and meeting – or even exceeding – all your goals, within established timelines.
An appealing personality and your willingness to build relationships with new and existing clients, open dialogue, offer fresh funding ideas, close deals, keep an eye on the bottom line and build business, along with your innate balance, competitiveness and sense of humour will all complement your application.
