Job Summary: Calvary Health Care Bethlehem (CHCB) - Location: Parkdale CHCB is recognised as a leader in its two areas of expertise; as a State-wide provider for those with Progressive Neurological Disease (such as Motor Neurone Disease and Huntington's Disease) and as a Specialist Palliative Care Service.

Job Details: The neurological team works within a neuropalliative rehabilitation framework and aims to provide best practice assessment and holistic care for patients with progressive neurological diseases (e.g. Motor Neurone Disease and Huntington's Disease) and their families.

Speech Pathologist Grade 2 - 16 hours per week
We are looking for a passionate, driven and motivated Speech Pathologist to join out multidisciplinary team.

This role is to cover parental leave for 12 months, commencing in October/November 2019

About the role:

The successful applicant will be required to work in the inpatient unit and in the State wide Progressive Neurological Disease Service.

This includes outpatient clinics and community consultancy and education.

Minimum 3 years clinical experience and current clinical knowledge in the field of progressive neurology and/or palliative care is desirable
Commitment to excellent customer service and care of this client group

Enjoy gaining knowledge and further developing clinical practices in this specialised area
