The Communities and Justice Shared Services branch, within Corporate Services Division, is comprised of four key business units responsible for the delivery of critical business services, including transactions that enable human resource and financial related transactions. Those business units are Finance Shared Service, HR Shared Services, Service Management and Systems & Governance. The Communities and Justice Shared Services branch works collaboratively with business divisions within NSW Department of Communities and Justice and agencies within the Stronger Communities Cluster to provide corporate functions to ensure the Department and its people are well supported as strategic partners.


About the role


As Service Officer (Payroll) you will;


Provide payroll administration services following procedures and customer experience principles in all interactions to ensure the enterprise resourcing planning system is accurate and up to date and to meet service levels.


Essential Requirements


Experience in the provision of quality payroll services on an enterprise resource planning system.


About you


To be successful in this role you will;

Create a positive customer experience providing services, support and advice on payroll administration
Follow agreed processes to maintain master data within the enterprise resource planning system
Maintain knowledge of and interpret employment conditions, entitlements, legislation, awards, policies, procedures
Complete manual calculations and adjustments to ensure the integrity of payments, and entitlements.
Provide timely service on a consistent basis in a high volume, busy environment.
