Job Summary: Canberra ACT Contract

Job Details: The National Health Co-op (NHC) is a not-for-profit member owned business that provides affordable medical and health services to the community where it operates. Members enjoy access to bulk billed doctors at any NHC clinic. The NHC also provides a wide range of other primary care services at no or low cost to members including psychology, diabetes education, physiotherapy and dietetics.

The NHC is seeking additional psychologists to provide therapy for a diverse range of clients across Canberra.

Benefits of contracting your services to the NHC include:

A full case load, large referral volumes and access to varied client presentations.
Administrative and reception support, meaning very little time is spent on anything other than therapy, clinical notes and medicare required correspondence.
The ability to discuss cases and treatment plans where required with other primary and allied health professions who also work at the NHC.
Flexible contract arrangements.
Experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply. Although not essential skills and interest in working with children and adolescents would be beneficial.

If you are interested in this opportunity you will be required to provide the following:

The ability to obtain a Medicare Provider Number to practice as a psychologist or AMHSW and access the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
A current Australian Business Number (ABN).
Public Liability Insurance cover.
