Job Details:

This role reports to the Planning Director with responsibility for strategic facilities planning and delivery of assigned projects, focussed specifically on research and scientific facilities. You will develop innovative and practical planning and design solutions that deliver long term sustainable growth within an urban environment. This will involve liaison with internal and external stakeholders to define, analyse, plan and embed design concepts that support the organisation’s profile as a Green Star Community.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Engage with stakeholders to develop innovative design concepts that adhere to organisational protocols


• Develop reporting methods that enable stakeholders to be regularly informed about the progress of major capital works and strategic implications


• Build partnerships with external consultants to ensure delivery of capital projects


• Manage internal and external relationships across multiple complex projects encompassing a diverse range of major infrastructure works


• Oversee the management of contractual and procurement aspects of major infrastructure projects


• Manage a portfolio of capital works projects that deliver on Green Star Community objectives
