Job Details: We are currently seeking applications for Personal Car Workers (PCW) to join our Hawthorn facility. Locally known as Mary MacKillop Aged Care, and has become part of the St Vincent’s Care Services family earlier in 2018. This facility is situated in the leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne, close to public transport and Campberwell Junction.

Both Permanent Part Time and Casual opportunities available.

Successful applicants will share a genuine desire to care and assist residents with a strong person centred care focus and you will need to demonstrate:

Previous experience in a similar role;
Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification essential;
Previous experience with Autumn Care (desirable);
An ability to provide personal care that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation;
Ability to follow directives as per can plan;
An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities;
Great time management, bedside and communication skills;
Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
