Your new company
A major ASX100 market leader is currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team. The position will initially be offered as a 12-month contract with a view to permanency.
Your new role
You’ll report to the Group Payroll Manager and your duties will include:
Manage the end to end payroll process
Ensure all statutory payroll payments are prepared and submitted including; PAYG, Payroll Tax, Child Support, WorkCover etc.
Calculate various entitlements including; annual leave, long service leave, workers compensation, overtime, rates etc.
Reconcile and report on the payroll function
Efficiently deal with employee queries
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience with CHRIS 21 is essential to be considered for this position
Knowledge and previous experience within a high volume payroll environment
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment
Comfortable working autonomously with a level of responsibility
MS Office skills, especially with Excel
