Job Summary: Canberra ACT Casual

Job Details: Our client is a large event waste management organisation, that aims to keep our local events clean with a holistic approach to event waste management and sustainability.

Our client is currently seeking casual general labouring/event cleaning staff in multiple roles with availability for New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and the Australia Day long weekend to work at events held in Canberra ACT.

Reporting to the Event Manager, successful applicants will meet the following requirements:

Must be able to work around crowds.
Your responsibilities will include general cleaning designated areas, moving and lifting heavy equipment etc.
Must be able to work flexible shifts
Reliability - Must be able to work as part of a team or independently
A knowledge of cleaning and hygiene related services
Good communication skills• Friendly and positive with a 'can do' attitude
Previous event and/or venue cleaning experience is desirable
