This is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly regarded and dedicated team of Maternal and Child Health Nurses in a small but dynamic Council in the Western Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. The Team Leader will provide operational and clinical support to the universal Maternal and Child Health team, and works in close collaboration with the Coordinator Community Child Health and Team Leader Operations and Support Services.

The role forms part of the Community Life leadership team and is expected to cultivate productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a best practice, client focused, integrated and responsive service to families with children aged 0-6 years and contribute to the development and achievement of corporate goals.


The successful applicant is required to have current registration with AHPRA as a Divison 1 Nurse and Midwife with additional qualifications to practice as a Maternal and Child Health Nurse in Victoria, and a Victorian Drivers Licence. The successful applicant will also be required to undergo a Working With Children Check.
