Atlex is a family owned and run business with 35 years’ experience in stockyard design and fabrication. We have built a strong reputation for delivering quality, value and service to our clients. This is what we expect from our production team.


We are seeking a highly productive and enthusiastic Painter/Yardsman to join our team based in Dubbo, NSW.


Duties included, but not limited to:


Preparing and Painting steel items from the workshop

Picking and Quality Checking stock items for delivery

Packing pallets and Loading onto trucks

Always keep shed and yard clean and tidy

Support the fabrication team as required (e.g. moving panels)

Follow all WH&S requirements, identify and report any risks and follow through to ensure the risks are averted


There will be room to gain further experience in fabrication for the right applicant


Ideally the applicants will have as a minimum:


HIGH LEVEL of attention to detail is a must

Be fit, healthy and have a ‘can do’ attitude

Ability to work autonomously

Experience in painting, although not essential

Basic knowledge of welding

Forklift and car license

A rural background

And most importantly have Atlex Values – Pride, Teamwork and Respect

Pay can be negotiated based on level of experience.


If we find the right person, their skillset will be secondary.


The start date for the right applicant will be the 4th November 2019
