Job Details: What key responsibilities does this job have at Showpo?
Assist our designers with all touchpoints involved in executing product from concept through to delivery.
Creating CAD’s in Adobe Illustrator
Manage Design/Buy Boards
Create Tech Packs in Excel
Assist in fittings with our production team
Liaise with suppliers on all points of the sampling process
Negotiate prices to hit margin targets
Build and nurture strong and effective relationships with suppliers
Qualities we look for?
Qualifications in Fashion & Textiles (or relevant industry experience)
Strong Excel skills
Strong Adobe Suite skills
Strong communication skills including ability to negotiate price
A great eye for trends and styles that appeal to Showpo’s audience
Ability to work independently but towards team goals
Amazing attention to detail, especially in garment construction and fitting
Fabric knowledge, definitely a plus!
Creative, problem solving mentality
Organisational & time management skills
Adaptable, flexible and able to work autonomously and unsupervised
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think outside the box
Start-up mentality - prepared to be hands-on
Willing to jump in to assist in company-wide goals

It would also be great if you had:
2+ years experience as a Design Assistant of Similar
Relevant internship experience
Experience in a fast-fashion business, online or e-Commerce business
Supplier management experience
Experience with KPI’s
