About the role



Reporting to the CFO, the General Manager Wagering is responsible for the strategic direction of wagering activities for RV.



Key responsibilities include




  • Working collaboratively with the CEO, Executive and Board in developing and executing the wagering strategy

  • Providing commercial analysis for all decisions relating to wagering activities including key initiatives to meet the industry’s strategic objectives

  • Acting as key relationship manager for the wagering service providers in Victoria

  • Proposing improvements based on research and data

  • Leading and developing the Wagering team



 



Experience & Skills



To ensure your success in this role, you must demonstrate




  • Significant experience and proven success in developing and executing wagering strategies

  • Commercial and strategic leadership and the ability to influence executive decisions

  • Strong understanding of the wagering landscape in Australia

  • A track record in driving revenue growth




  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline well regarded
