Keperra Sanctuary Retirement Village is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused General Service Officer to join their team on a casual basis. At present we are expecting approximately 20 hours per month for the successful candidate, with further opportunity to pick up shifts on an as-needed basis.
As Keperra Sanctuary’s General Service Officer, your main objectives will be to manage the Bar Service during happy hour, assist with monthly resident dinners, drive the community bus and assist with basic maintenance tasks. Part of your role may also include other ad-hoc duties such as tidying and maintaining communal areas.
To be successful you must have;
Previous experience within hospitality, food/beverage service or similar. Experience specifically within the aged care, retirement living or healthcare industry will be highly regarded.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the capacity to work unsupervised.
Basic maintenance/handyperson skills.
Go-getter attitude, with an interest in developing new skills.
Availability to work evening shifts.
Current LR or above Driving Licence (highly desirable)
Level 2 First Aid Certificate and RSA (or willingness to obtain).
