Job Details: As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:


Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards
The Geelong Clinic is a 52 bed Psychiatric Hospital that offers a range of inpatient, day programs and outreach services for individuals experiencing mental health problems. Located on the outskirts of Geelong within close proximity to spectacular coastal attractions, the clinic has a number of accredited Psychiatrists supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team of nursing, allied health, administration and domestic services staff.


Selection Criteria:
Current Food Handlers Certificate (working towards or willing to attain)
Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
Excellent time management skills
Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
