Job Summary: Our client is an established NFP entity that is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in a true leadership role. The role will have a number of direct reports and oversee both Financial and Management Accountants. The role will also require you to work closely with the executive team, providing detailed analysis and reporting. Whilst the role will report into management it will also require you to partner with business units and support these entities.

Job Details: Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for the month end process, ensuring accounts are completed on time and to a high standard.
Complete ownership over the Financial statements for entities under your control.
Partner closely with business unit managers and provide strategic guidance and recommendations to these leaders to support their budget and Financial Statements.
Manage the external audit process and key requirements by providing timely information and correspondence with external parties.
Support the business units tax requirements and reporting under statutory requirements.
Delivery of general ledger accountant reconciliation.
Develop and improve upon company policy and procedures around financials and accounting processes.
Support the business with system improvements and other project roles as required.
Help develop junior staff members through hands on training and supporting them in their careers.
Focus management on a results driven approach through establishing and maintaining a culture of high performance within the business.
Ad hoc tasks as required.
Key Requirements:

Mining of 5 years experience working in a Finance Manager role.
Prior experience working within a complex health organisation.
CA/CPA qualified.
Strong financial and accounting competencies with knowledge and understanding or accounting standards.
Experience with Australian tax requirements
Ability and past experience in successfully managing a finance team.
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
