We are now seeking a Practice Nurse to join our growing team, under the direction of our Senior Practice Nurse.
Job Details:
The role will be permanent part-time, working 16-20 hours per week. We offer a competitive above-award hourly rate, superannuation, and 4 weeks’ annual leave.
You will be a Division 1 Nurse with current practicing certificate and at least a year’s nursing experience, not necessarily in General Practice. You will be self-driven and have a passion for primary health care. You understand the value you add to patients, their families and also the wider general practice team. Because Turn the Corner is a progressive workplace, you will need to be adaptable, and embrace change and new technologies. You will be comfortable working independently but also as part of a close-knit, supportive team. Importantly, you will want to deliver a level of service that is above and beyond the normal status quo that you might have experienced elsewhere.
For the right candidate, we can be somewhat flexible in respect of the timing of hours worked during the week, obviously being mindful of the Clinic’s needs. There will be a requirement to work frequent Saturdays, 0900-1400, to support the GPs working then.
Ideally, you will be able to ramp-up your hours to 30-35 hours per week during the periods of the year when the Senior Practice Nurse is on leave.
