Job Summary: Kellyville NSW Part-time Hills Nursing has vacancies for an experienced and reliable Assistants in Nursing,to provide in-home careto our client in Kellyville, NSW.

Job Details: This young person has Down Syndrome, Autism and severe intellectual disability. They currently require care between Monday to Friday 1445 to 1800.

The successful candidate would enjoy long, predictable shifts, the satisfaction of assisting a young person through their daily activities and the opportunity to pick up other work.

In this role, you may provide a variety of services, including:

PEG feeding
Medication assistance
Personal care including colostomy routines
Behavioural support
In-home respite
Transport to and from school
Assistance around the home
To be successful, you will have:

Previous experience providing care and support to elderly or disabled clients, preferably in a community setting
Relevant Certificate III or IV qualification or currently completing
Current First Aid certificate
Current driver’s licence, and a reliable car with comprehensive insurance
The right to work in Australia
Smart phone and email access
Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
Great time management
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Professional presentation
