The role
We are seeking a support worker with life experience and a resume to match, who is interested in providing support to a interesting female customer needing assistance in their home and going out in the community.
We require a support worker who will work with our NDIS participant to achieve various daily task and goals as per their request. Most importantly we require a person who has an eye for detail with strong listening and communication skills.
Your primary role will be providing one to one support within the home and going out within the community as per their roster needs.
This will include:
Assistance with personal care and manual handling.
Providing domestic assistance and meal preparation.
Transport assistance (own car is a must)
Person centred practice with end result of achieving plan goals.
If you are a person with a kind, patient and empathetic nature, and willing to provide with your upmost care, carrying a positive can-do attitude; then this role could be a match for you.

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum of 6 months paid experience in supporting people with disabilities.
Experience working with Physical Disabilities is advantageous
Experience in High Manual Handling
Two relevant, professional and industry related reference checks.
Working with Children’s Check, or willing to obtain one
Have a current, or willing be to obtain a First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate.
Willing to undergo a police check and DWES check

Essential criteria:

Car, drivers licence and comprehensive insurance.
