Job Details: I am looking for an experienced Design Director with a strong conceptual branding skills and art direction to join a growing Melbourne office.

You will be working closely with their Creative Directors in Sydney, you will be responsible for producing high quality creative, from initial briefs and concepts through to rollout and final production. You will work seamlessly across a variety of briefs, campaigns and platforms. You will lead and support other creative team members in developing impactful work. You will conceptualise ideas, run photo and content shoots and deliver remarkable creative across a wide range of clients.

You will report into the National Director, based in the Melbourne studio, and assist in the development and growth of the Melbourne studio look and feel (creatively) setting a tone and signature for all projects and campaigns within the studio.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years’ experience, be self-motivated and will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills. This position is perfect for a candidate who wants to step into a leadership role, flex their creative muscle and lead creative discussions in aesthetics, strategy and all round branding.

This is a mostly autonomous role that is part of our key succession plan for the Melbourne studio.

The Role and Responsibilities:-
Establish creative strategy, budgets & schedules for projects with the key account team.
Mentor and supervise the creative team while challenging and introducing new and innovative methods of creative execution.
Motivate and influence creative team to constantly strive for excellence in performance.
Develop and design concepts and execute creative material as required.
Convey and develop overall interactive team design vision by defining group direction and goals.
- Develop and nurture communication and collaboration between the 3 offices - Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane.
At least 3+ years’ experience within a property environment.

What about the future? The agency does have a very clear future plans and expectations for the next 1to 5 years. They know where they are heading and they need an Design Director to help them get there.
