About the opportunity
Bathurst Health Service is offering the exciting opportunity to work as part of the Social Work team who provide a high level service to the acute hospital and community. This position will provide the successful applicant with a community focused role with the ability to also work within the acute hospital setting.
The Social Worker is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing quality services to patients/ clients of the WNSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs.

A bachelor degree in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/ caseload.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice.
Experience working in a hospital setting including trauma areas.
Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.
