Job Details: Where will you work …

You will need to cover areas from Bells Creek to Maroochydore, though as we grow, additional area’s may be included.

You must be –

An Australian citizen – this is not negotiable. Our current cleaning contracts specify that all employees must be Australian Citizens
Physically fit and have no existing physical injuries or conditions. Cleaning is a tough gig. We don’t want you to injure yourself further
Well presented. Our clients are generally corporate businesses, so being able to present yourself in a professional way is absolutely essential
You must have (or be able to obtain) -

Current Criminal Check and Blue Card
The ability to work independently and / or part of the team
Flexibility. Some of our jobs change with little notice
Reliable transport

Wages and conditions covered under Cleaning Services Award MA000022 – Cleaning Service Employee – Level 1 – reviewed each year as per current legislation
Your own cleaning kit, which you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning
All cleaning products required to complete your job safely and effectively
$1.00 per shift completed for laundry allowance
Monday – Friday - Day rate (between 6am – 6pm) $26.03 / hr
Monday – Friday - Early morning / Evening rate (between 6pm – 6am) $29.15 / hr
Saturdays - $36.44 / hr
Sundays - $46.85 / hr
Public Holidays - $57.26 / hr
Paid fortnightly
Workers Compensation, 9.5% Superannuation
QLeave (Portable Long Service Leave)
Kapow’s Polo shirts (you will need black cargo shorts and comfortable enclosed shoes)
What does this look like for you ..

Base hours of work which will vary over busier and slower periods, but as a general rule you will do around 14 hours per week
You could be starting at 400am / finishing at midnight or more likely a mixture of both, depending on where you work
You will need to work every Saturday morning at Bells Creek, cleaning with a second person, generally finishing no later than 1100am
You will potentially be working 6 days a week, at least intially
Most shifts range from 2 – 4 hrs per shift
Your first couple of months will be busy as we have various staff taking time off over the January – March 2020 period. The expectation is that you will be available for this entire period and then ongoing
There is potential for this role to become permanent part-time after a period of 12 months.
Whilst no experience is necessary, we are wanting someone who can hit the ground running after an initial training period, so experience would definitely be a bonus!
