Job Summary: Sunshine Coast QLD Casual The Department of Transport and Main Roads, require the services of an Engineer (Civil) based in Maroochydore. This role will be a temporary assignment for 10 months with the possibility of extension.

Job Details: The role will require a knowledge of data analysis and interpretation of results in the pavements discipline. The candidate will be required to communicate regularly with senior staff to ensure best outcomes

Responsibilities

Perform analysis of large amounts of pavement condition and other data in Microsoft excel and interpret the results
Manage workload to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Ensure quality of outputs
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress of works
Report to the principal engineer
Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification which is accepted by Engineers Australia is a requirement of this position
Two years minimum experience in civil engineering
Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Takes personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing works
Previous experience in transport infrastructure delivery desirable
