Job Details: They employ over 150 member's of staff across several offices throughout mainland Australia and Tasmania and have in-house expertise that encompasses ground services, infrastructure, building and environmental engineering, as well as temporary works/construction services and specialist lifting equipment.

The Role
Purely from a growth perspective, the business is seeking to bolster its civil engineering, technical design team, allowing the senior engineers to concentrate on the front end, business development and client-facing aspect, in the pursuit of new business opportunities and project wins.

Located in Brisbane city, you’ll be joining a team of 6 engineering, design and drafting staff of a total of c.30 people all-in-all. Your role will initially be a technical position. This will largely include design, analysis and calculations. Depending on your competency and/or development in the role, this could quickly encompass project management, coordination and interfacing.
You will be working on various infrastructure projects not just in QLD, but in NSW, VIC and TAS too.


The Candidate
As a person, you should have a personable and social demeanour, together with a ‘can do’ attitude and possess strong communication skills to adequately communicate with your team, managers as well as personnel and stakeholders associated with the projects.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on infrastructure projects in Australia.
A degree in Civil Engineering.
Relevant experience in the design of roads, intersections, drainage and bulk earthworks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with the team, managers and clients.
