About KU

The Centre
KU Marcia Burgess Autism Specific Early Learning and Care Centre (ASELCC) is located in Liverpool. The centre has adopted the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) to provide intervention within the early learning program for children aged 0-6 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a long day care setting. It also provides parents with support in the care of their children and gives them the opportunity to participate more fully in the community.

About the role
We are looking for child care educators who have completed a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent who value partnering with families, are keen to further develop their skills and want to join passionate, capable and dedicated teams in a casual capacity in our services for KU Marcia Burgess and KU centres in Liverpool.
About you
We want you to be as passionate about early childhood education and as committed to achieving positive outcomes as we are. In addition, you will have:
A current NSW Working with Children Check.
Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
Recognised Certificate III in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law(2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated computer literacy skills
