Job Summary: North Eastern Community Hospital Inc (NECH) is a not-for-profit organisation comprising a private independent acute care hospital and a residential aged care facility. NECH provides excellent care to the community with a comprehensive range of health services in a safe and caring environment. Situated in Campbelltown, 10km north east of the city of Adelaide, South Australia, the complex has 60 acute bed licences, eight day beds and a nursing home of 84 high care licensed beds. NECH is currently in the position to employ an experienced CEO to lead the organisation through its next stage of growth.
Job Details:Reporting to the Board, NECH requires a commercially savvy and experienced CEO who will implement their strategy as well as lead the operational day-to-day functions. The key objectives of the position will be to focus on growth, operational and risk management, and continual improvement in the high standard of services provided to the NECH's customers in both the hospital and residential aged care facility.
To be successful in securing this position, applicants will need to have attained relevant tertiary business qualifications and demonstrate extensive high level commercial and leadership skills within a previous CEO/management position. Relationship management, business development, change management, negotiation, communication, corporate governance and financial acumen skills, and a desire to be a part of a not-for-profit community owned organisation are paramount. Health sector experience is also advantageous.
