Job Details: Please note that this position is based on a roster system and flexibility of hours is required to work days, evenings and weekends, from 7am – 11pm.

As a Hospitality Assistant you will:

Provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors to ensure enquiries and needs are addressed and met promptly and accurately
Undertake a range of administrative tasks
Maintain accommodation and corporate centre room bookings
Assist front of house and food and beverage services, maintain service standards and processes ensuring directed tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner

Demostrated ability to organise and plan and to meet rigid and conflicting demands and deadlines, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of groups and individuals
Proven capability to work positively and effectively as part of a collaborative work team, to accommodate and work well with different working styles and to work independently where required
Excellent computer literacy skills in software applications including the Microsoft Office Suite and outlook
Demonstrated ability to achieve a broad range of administrative tasks
Preferably experience in a hospitality environment as well as hotel reception or the events industry with use of systems such as Guest Centrix
Your key responsibilities will be to:

Provide professional and efficient reception, food & beverage services to Waurn Ponds Estate clientele, responding to general requests and redirecting enquiries promptly and accurately in order to provide consistent visitor experience.
Provide administrative support, which may include but is not limited to diary management, arranging meetings including venues, catering, agendas and minutes, taking phone messages, typing letters, organising, preparation and maintenance of Word and Excel documents, forms, posters and publications.
Undertake filing, ensuring all office paperwork is in order and retrievable at all times, photocopying; ordering of stationery and consumables; maintenance of supplies and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and assist with all enquiries and relevant preparation.
Provide front of house services including but not limited to delivery of catering and conference room set ups.
Effectively manage own work schedule to ensure tasks are completed on time and to expected standards.
Any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position.
