The team at Cedar Wharf Lodge are seeking Care Assistants who will maintain a person centred approach to care sensitive to the values, preferences and expressed needs of our consumers; working as part of a team to provide the best possible care and customer service making a memorable difference to the lives of residents and their families.

To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated experience in aged care
Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
A genuine passion for working with the elderly
Essential:
Certificate III in Aged Care or Equivalent
Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
Able to work a range of shifts including night shifts and weekend work
As part of the recruitment process candidates will be required to undertake a functional assessment including drug and alcohol testing.
