Job Details: About the role

The role of Carpentry Assistant requires a hands on person who has the technical capability and skill to assist in the construction of various stages of each project.

The successful candidate will have technical carpentry knowledge and the ability to use tools in order to assist in the following areas.

Assisting the builder with carpentry works including
Framing,
Fixing
Lock up
Cladding installation
Decking
Conducting maintenance of homes this may include works such as touch up painting, plastering and carpentry
Assisting with landscape retaining walls, planter boxes and site maintenance
Cleaning and tidying construction sites in preparation for the next stage of construction
Ensuring all works completed comply with the Building Code Australia

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Skills and experience

Education and experience

Must have at least 3 years experience (Carpentry)
Must have a valid Australian drivers license
Must have a basic knowledge of using hand tools and power tools
