Job Details:

As an Assistant in Nursing your responsibilities will include:

• Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties


• Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters


• Assess patients using therapeutic skills


• Provide recommendations to specialist treatment programs based on their diagnosis


• Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries

Essential Criteria:

• Certificate III (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer


• Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work


• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team


• Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired


• Up to date clinical skills along with excellent communication and time management skills
