Job Summary: Key Responsibilities Include: - Preparing, reviewing and entering accrual and allocation journals - Reconciliation of balance sheets - Monthly customer billing and invoicing function - Processing vendor invoices into SAP and assist Accounts Payable queries - Monthly reviews of the profit and loss for misallocation of expenses and charging abnormalities - Prepare divisional reporting requirements - Provide financial mentoring to business unit managers; assisting them in identifying, monitoring and adhering to strict KPI’s - Annual stock take - Actively work with business units to improve business processes and performance; travelling to Operational sites to work closely with frontline management - Challenge business practices. Develop new systems and processes; train and empower managers and their teams. - Assist in the development of the Victorian budget. - Offer support to other Finance team members, as required

We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team in Southbank. Reporting to the Administration and Finance Reporting Manager, you will work closely with our Finance team and the wider business located throughout Victoria.
Qualifications
- Part CA /CPA qualified
- Hold a valid Victorian Drivers License
- Have at least two years experience in a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Have the ability to work autonomously and adhere to deadlines
- Exposure to SAP is desirable, but not essential.
