The numerous expressions of The Salvation Army in North West Sydney are seeking a savvy administrator to join their team. No two days will be the same in this new role, as you provide administration support to three churches and three stores in the region. Reporting to the Norwest Region Team Leader, this role is ideal for someone who has a heart for the mission of The Salvation Army and who isn’t fazed with multiple priorities, but takes the initiative in solving problems.
Essential Requirements:
Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
At least 2 years administration experience working with some level of autonomy
Previous experience with financial clerical tasks/basic accounting
Certificate IV in Business Administration or relevant experience
Self-motivated, high level of initiative and strong work ethic
Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact positively with a variety of people.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
Team player, flexible with a positive attitude
Good attention to detail skills
Experience within a community or NFP setting would be well regarded
