Job Details: Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and responsible for the year-end financial reporting package in accordance to the Company Accounting Policy and Australian Accounting Standards Board requirements, including the external audit of such financial statements.
Prepare, review and analyze the month-end Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Accounts.
Prepare and responsible for the monthly general ledger posting and reconciliations, including work-in-progress, prepayments, accruals, taxes, fixed assets register and depreciation schedules etc.
Prepare and responsible for the bank reconciliations including credit card and bank posting.
Prepare and responsible for all compliance required by the ATO & ASIC, including CIT, WHT, BAS, PAYG, FBT, intercompany transactions reporting for TP documentation etc.
Responsible for cash-flow management and reporting including prepare and monitor the weekly cash flow position, timely notification to Corporate Treasury for all intercompany outgoing payments, involve in collection process and liaise with the respective project managers for overdue invoices etc.
Review and validate the vendor payment files to ensure completeness, before release for final bank authorization.
Prepare overseas payments, via the bank portal for final authorization.
Review and responsible for intercompany receivables and payables posting.
Review and responsible for petty cash postings, including raising reimbursement cheque.
To attend general accounts payable enquiries from vendors and clients.
To assist Regional Finance in the preparation of the annual budget reports.
Safeguarding company policies and ensure applicable work procedures are followed.
Drive continuous improvement processes and procedures in relation to the finance related matters.
Comply with health, safety and environment regulations.
Adhere to ROSEN business process, policies and procedures.
Interaction and team participation with other members in the ROSEN Group
Assist with and undertake other duties as determined by the Head of Finance from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
CA or CPA qualified.
Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or Business.
Minimum of 5 years’ Accountant experience, ideally in a similar role.
Sound experience with accounting standards, requirements (e.g. end of month processing) and legal obligations.
Demonstrated Microsoft Excel proficiency (Advanced) - SumIf, Vlookup, If and pivot table knowledge.
Significant experience in working with SAP accounting software.
High attention to detail and excellent data accuracy skills (detail oriented).
Proven ability to adhere to strict timeframe constraints, being deadline orientated and flexible (if required) to ensure duty requirements are completed.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Well-developed communication skills both verbal and written.
Possess a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to develop strong working relationships within the regional finance team as well as within the sector, enabling the capacity to work in a multi-cultural environment.
